Men of War-Vietnam PC Game Full Version Free Download

Brutally tough and unforgiving, Men of War: Vietnam is a serious test of your patience and your real-time strategy skills.
How much you enjoy Men of War: Vietnam depends on your patience for constant saving and reloading. Just like in the earlier releases in this 1C Company series of real-time squad combat games, the difficulty has been cranked through the roof. Your small squads have to battle their way through dozens if not hundreds of enemies in each and every mission, with even a single misstep often resulting in instant failure. That doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun, and it isn't. The mission design is so grueling that you feel wrung out by the time you cross the finish line. Still, there are some positives. Maps are intricately designed, and a cooperative option for the campaign lets you team up with as many as three other players, which both makes things easier and adds some replay value
At least Men of War: Vietnam is honest up front. The very first mission tosses you into the deep end without any life preservers. Denied even the benefit of a brief tutorial or some tips on how to handle the first few enemy encounters, you're thrown into the midst of a battle between the US and a small group of Russian advisors and Vietcong soldiers. A Huey incinerates your convoy in the scripted opening seconds and then returns to obliterate the paltry four survivors in your squad within moments. Either you get your guys off the road and under cover in less time than it took you to read the start of this paragraph, or everybody dies. It's an abysmal introduction. It's hard to imagine anyone new to the Men of War series sticking around for very long after this greeting. Even series veterans can't help but be taken aback by how brutally the game begins. Playing on easy helps a bit by reducing enemy numbers, but the game remains incredibly punishing.
The two-part campaign that sees the first five missions focusing on Russian and Vietcong troops and the second five missions swinging over to the US is unforgiving all the way through. You go into missions with tiny squads ranging from just four guys to around a dozen or so, and you have to fight and/or sneak your way through huge maps crawling with countless enemy patrols and dotted with umpteen goals. The playing field is so tilted against you that you're at risk of it falling on your head at any moment. Enemies can spot you from long distances, hear you even when you're firing silenced rounds, and shoot you with unerring accuracy even when you're hunkered down behind brush. The entire squad can be wiped out in mere moments, at almost any time. You need to creep forward very cautiously, experiment with a lot of trial and error, and save every time you do anything even remotely good. Kill a bad guy? Save. Find a great cover spot? Save. And so on. At least the game helps out by autosaving at smart, frequent intervals.
There are a couple of saving graces. Mission maps are extremely detailed and come with multiple options to get past every enemy troop position. Granted, sometimes none of them are pleasant, but at least you have many choices, ranging from open assaults to flanking maneuvers to firing locations and weapon selection. Enemy artificial intelligence is lacking, too, though at least the stupidity of your foes makes it easier to complete scenarios against the incredible odds. Foes typically respond to attacks by going back to standard patrol routes, oblivious to the corpses of their comrades and the burning wreckage around them, or by walking mindlessly into the jungle until your lads shoot them to bits. When you're beaten, you're beaten through sheer force of numbers or by superior enemy positions like bunkers, but never from being outsmarted.
Unfortunately, your own troops aren't very smart, either. They often switch weapons for no apparent reason in mid-battle and ignore enemies gleefully murdering the whole squad from a few feet away. Maybe it's the cover itself, or maybe it's dumb soldiers not standing in the right spots, but your boys often seem to think they're hidden when they're exposed enough to take a bullet to the head. Targeting isn't very accurate, unless you micromanage troops with direct control, which is hard to do in the middle of a big scrap. You can order your squad to assault a lone VC hiding behind a truck, for example, and watch in horror as your lads line up behind the bumper and fill it full of holeswhile your enemy pops out of cover and slaughters everyone.
Special abilities and weapons offer some chance at survival. There is something of a role-playing flavor here with named squadmates who come equipped with gear and combat skills. At times, the game resembles the Commandos series. Troops with silenced SMGs, sniper rifles, and big M60s provide you with a shot at whittling down enemy numbers. That said, the small size of your squads makes it devastating when just one man is killed. Lose your sniper, and it's pretty much game over unless you're in the home stretch.
Jungle terrain is both an ally and an enemy. The engine does a great job rendering the foliage of Southeast Asia, and it isn't just for show. It's so thick that you can ably stage hit-and-run raids where you blitz enemy positions and then fade back into the green. Bad guys take advantage of the green stuff as well, though, and it's so voluminous that you often can't see anything. Events develop so fast that your men might be slaughtered before you can get the camera properly into position. You expect a lot of jungle in a Vietnam game, of course, but it seems like you wind up with a big frond in your face every time you adjust the camera the slightest bit to better view a firefight.
All of the campaign missions can also be run through cooperatively with up to four other players. This is the best way to play the game, as it mitigates the extreme difficulty of going solo. It also lets you tackle objectives more efficiently via coordinated attacks. Some missions seem to have been designed with co-op in mind. The first mission, in fact, features a section where you must detonate three US Hueys before they take off. This is hard to achieve playing solo without sacrificing at least one man during the assault, because the choppers head to the skies almost as soon as you open fire. But when you're playing with a buddy, you can divvy up the targets to blow them all up before the pilots can get the rotors spinning. Unfortunately, there are some technical problems with online play. Connection errors frequently pop up on the server screen, making it impossible to join many matches. This may be because of conflicts between various versions of the game sold by different retailers or conflicts between those who purchased the DLC pack released alongside the main game and those who did not. Either way, a patch is desperately needed. Even when you can get into games, the play is a bit laggy, and synchronization issues frequently arise.
As frustrating as Men of War: Vietnam is, it still provides some satisfying moments. Emerging hale and hearty at the end of a mission is always cause for celebration, seeing how the odds are so slanted against you, and the opposing forces are made up of what seems to be the entire US Army or Vietcong. Still, the extreme challenge is a tough sell, and it makes it so difficult to get past the first mission that you might never get to the point where you can get hooked.

Having just made it back onto the streets of Liberty City after a long stretch in maximum security, Tommy Vercetti is sent to Vice City- Undercover 2 by his old boss, Sonny Forelli. They were understandably nervous about his re-appearance in Liberty City, so a trip down south seemed like a good idea. But all does not go smoothly upon his arrival in the glamorous, hedonistic metropolis of Vice City- Undercover 2. He's set up and is left with no money and no merchandise. Sonny wants his money back, but the biker gangs, Cuban gangsters, and corrupt politicians stand in his way. Most of Vice City- Undercover 2 seems to want Tommy dead. His only answer is to fight back and take over the city himself.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City- Undercover 2 is the most diverse and ambitious piece of interactive entertainment yet created. The game is developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.

NEW YORK--May 21, 2002--Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing division of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), proudly announces Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the follow-up to the global blockbuster title Grand Theft Auto 3. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City- Undercover 2 is the latest installment in the gaming franchise that has exceeded 11 million units in total sales to-date. It will be available exclusively for PlayStation(R)2 and is expected to hit retail shelves in the United States on October 22nd. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City- Undercover 2 will surpass the unprecedented gameplay, cinematic graphics and immersive audio experience that gamers associate with Grand Theft Auto 3, which was released in October 2001 and has rapidly become the fastest selling, highest grossing game for PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system to date, with global sales exceeding 6 million units. Rockstar Games will release additional information about the game's content in July, but the following details are clear: It's an entirely new game set in the '80s, the location is Vice City, and the vibe is glamour, power and corruption...
Sam Houser, the executive producer of the Grand Theft Auto- Undercover 2 franchise and president of Rockstar Games, commented, "The success of Grand Theft Auto 3 has made us very proud, but it has also motivated us enormously. The work currently being done by our development and production teams in Edinburgh and New York is going to surpass the efforts of last year, as we set our sights on making an even more revolutionary gaming experience. This will be reflected in the size of the game, the scope of the gameplay, the extent of the gameplayer's freedom, the quality of production value and the all-important sense of style."
Les Benzies, the producer of Grand Theft Auto- Undercover 2 games, noted, "Although it may appear to be a challenge to develop a game superior to Grand Theft Auto 3, our progress to date on Vice City makes me highly confident that we can deliver a truly innovative game." Kelly Sumner, Take-Two Interactive Software's Chief Executive Officer added, "Grand Theft Auto 3 has become the "must-have" title for PlayStation(R)2 and is appropriately regarded as a landmark in interactive entertainment. We are delighted with the plans for Vice City- Undercover 2, and are totally committed to supporting Rockstar's creative efforts and investing in the development and marketing approach that made Grand Theft Auto 3 such a tremendous success."

MotoGP 2 PC Game Full Version with Information, Trailer and System Requirements Free Download

MotoGP 2 has twice the number of tracks available, and it includes just enough other enhancements to make it a worthwhile successor to MotoGP.
Having been released as a launch game for the PlayStation 2, Namco's original MotoGP was a solid racing game that accurately represented the sport of Grand Prix road racing and successfully translated what is one of the most physically demanding motorsports into a visually realistic game--one that was easily accessible to casual racing fans while still maintaining a lot of appeal for hard-core buffs. If MotoGP had one failing, though, it was the lack of racetracks that were available--with only five circuits, the game's replay value suffered. Fortunately, MotoGP 2 has twice the number of tracks available, and it includes just enough other enhancements to make it a worthwhile successor to MotoGP.
Like the first game, MotoGP 2 boasts bikes, racetracks, and factory teams that are licensed from Dorna's 2001 500cc Grand Prix (GP for short) league. Anyone who's familiar with the sport will undoubtedly appreciate being able to race alongside Alex Criville from Team Respol YPF Honda or Telefonica Suzuki's Kenny Roberts Jr. on 10 of the season's 16 circuits. Five of MotoGP's original tracks--Suzuka, Paul Ricard, Jerez, Donington, and Motegi--are still available in MotoGP 2, as are five brand-new courses, which include Catalunya, Assen, Le Mans, Mugello, and Sachsenring. The overall mechanics of MotoGP 2 remain essentially unchanged from those of the original. This means that the three primary gameplay modes of arcade, championship, and time trial are included in this sequel. As you can probably infer from its name, arcade is a straightforward mode that gives you the option of riding for one of the many teams represented in the game against 20 other riders on any of the 10 tracks. You can further custom-tailor your race by choosing the number of laps, adjusting the difficulty of other riders, and fiddling with one of five generic performance variables for your bike--transmission, handling, acceleration, brakes, and tires--and that's one more than the original game offered, by the way. Another new option is the ability to select wet weather, which severely impairs your vision and handicaps your bike's traction.
The time trial mode is similar to the arcade mode, and it lets you choose from the same number of prerace options, but you'll be pitting your skills against the clock, not other riders. Of these three modes, though, championship is easily the one with the most appeal. Here, you can choose to race for one of three beginner teams across all 10 tracks in succession, as you would in the real world. Before each race, you're given one practice session to tweak your bike's performance to that particular course and one qualifying round to determine your grid standing before you actually jump into the race. At the end of each race, you're given a certain number of points depending on where you placed. If the total number of points you earn at the end of 10 races (one season) meets your team's requirement, then you're allowed to sign a new contract with them. Or you can opt to jump to a better team that'll give you a faster bike if you meet its requirements. The rider with the most points after five seasons is crowned the overall champ. It would have been nice to have the option of racing the actual 2001 16-race season as it happened in real life, but it would have been impossible to model the game's different team requirements with only a single season, since nobody switches teams in midseason. As it is, MotoGP 2's championship mode in its current form, as with MotoGP's, is more than acceptable.
Likewise, the control game is no different from MotoGP's. An option before any race lets you turn the "simulation mode" on or off. When it's off, MotoGP 2's control scheme is very simple, and for the most part, you'll be able to be competitive even if you drive your bike like you would a car. When simulation is turned on, though, the bikes become temperamental and overly responsive to any control input you give them. MotoGP 2 does a good job of modeling rear-wheel spin coming out of turns and front-wheel lockups during braking, and simply mashing the gas and brake buttons around corners is a good way of acquainting yourself with the asphalt. The game makes full use of the Dual Shock's vibration to telegraph loss of adhesion before a total wipeout, and the controller's analog buttons offer enough leeway that you won't have to tap on the gas or brakes while cornering.
The challenge mode from the original game has also made its way into MotoGP 2. Though all 10 of the game's tracks are initially available for you to race on in any of the three modes, you can choose from only 12 of the game's 39 total motorcycles from the outset. You can unlock the remainder of these bikes by successfully completing the 70 challenges, which vary in difficulty and include everything from braking within a certain distance to beating a certain track's lap record. While some of the challenges might seem frustrating--some of them really are--the rewards you'll earn by completing them are certainly worth the headache. That's because in addition to gaining access to a variety of new bikes, completing the challenge mode unlocks an option called legends, a mode that will undoubtedly tug at the heartstrings of GP racing fans. Legends mode is very much like the standard arcade mode in that you choose a bike, track, and set your many racing options before jumping into the actual race. But instead of competing against a field of 20 riders from the 2001 roster, you get to race against five of the motorsport's all-time greats: Michael Doohan and his '99 Honda, Kenny Roberts Sr. and his '81 Yamaha, Kevin Schwantz and his '94 Suzuki, Freddie Spencer and his '89 Yamaha, and ultimate champ Wayne Rainey and his '93 Yamaha. These five riders are more skilled than any of the game's other 20 racers, and they'll hound you around the tracks relentlessly. What's more, once this mode is unlocked, you're given the ability to race as any of these five legends in the arcade and time trial modes.
Bringing the entire game to life is a slightly updated version of MotoGP's graphics engine. The updates don't constitute a full face lift--it's more like a quick nip and tuck. The bike models are essentially unchanged, although the riders are composed of a lot more polygons and animate much more realistically than the somewhat stiff motion of the original game. Likewise, some trackside environmental effects--like reflections on your rider's helmet and bike's gas tank--are more apparent than they were in MotoGP. A not-so-subtle enhancement to the original game's graphics are the new wet weather effects. In fact, the rain droplets that mar your vision in the first-person view rival the effect pioneered by Metal Gear Solid 2. Unfortunately, however, the bland techno beats from MotoGP have received no such enhancements, and while you have the merciful option of turning the music off, it would have been nice if the game included a soundtrack that featured something other than mindless beats. Thankfully, the actual sounds in the game, including the whiny engines and the crowd noise, are well done and never get repetitive.
To a passerby, MotoGP 2 might not look very different from its predecessor. Certainly, only someone who has played the original game will be able to appreciate the new additions. Nonetheless, MotoGP 2 features more changes and enhancements to the original game than most annual sports games from EA or Sega do, and the bottom line is that MotoGP 2 is a great addition for racing fans who missed the original MotoGP among the sea of more popular launch games such as SSX and Ridge Racer V, and those who do own the original will certainly appreciate all the new changes that this sequel incorporates.

MAX Payne 2 The Fall of MAX Payne PC Game Full Version Free Download

Max Payne 2 is just a remarkable production, and what it lacks in length or volume it more than makes up for in quality and density.

Two years after the events of the first game, Max Payne has quit his job at the DEA and returned to his former job as an NYPD detective. While investigating a series of murders by a group of contract killers called the Cleaners, Max encounters Mona Sax, who was assumed dead at the end of the previous game. Wanted for the murder of Senator Gates, Mona is arrested despite Max's protests, and taken to the police station. While at the station, Max overhears his new partner, Detective Valerie Winterson, talking on the phone about Mona. Suddenly, the station is attacked by the Cleaners, who are looking for Mona. Before they reach her, Mona breaks out of her cell and vanishes into the night. After Max meets her again at her residence, where they fight off the Cleaners who followed Max to her place, they begin hunting down the people responsible for the attack. Their search leads them to a construction site, where Max and Mona defend themselves against the Cleaners. After their foes flee, Detective Winterson arrives and holds Mona at gunpoint. Mona claims that Winterson is there to kill her while Winterson claims that she is simply trying to arrest a fleeing fugitive. After several moments of consideration, Max shoots Winterson, allowing Mona to escape. Before she dies, Winterson shoots Max, leading to his hospitalization.
After Max leaves the hospital, he begins looking for answers. When Max is kidnapped by Vladimir Lem, head of the local Russian Mafia, he learns that the Cleaners work for Lem, who uses them to eliminate the competition to his businesses. Max then learns that Lem is part of the secretive Inner Circle, led by Senator Alfred Woden, who had ensured that the charges against Max were dropped at the end of the previous game. Lem plans to kill Woden and gain control of the Inner Circle. Max also learns that Mona is a hired gun for Woden, with orders to kill Lem and Max. After Lem reveals that Detective Winterson was his mistress, he shoots Max in the head, and leaves him for dead in a burning building. Mona rescues Max, and together they go to Woden's mansion to save him from Lem.
At the mansion, Mona knocks Max to the ground in an attempt to follow her orders to kill him, but discovers that her feelings for him keep her from doing so. Lem shoots Mona after realizing that she will not kill Max. Woden then appears in a wheelchair, and lunges at Lem; Woden is killed during the ensuing struggle. Max and Lem then begin to fight, until Lem triggers a bomb that he planted in the mansion. After they both drop to the floor below, Max pursues Lem through the mansion. Max faces Lem in a firefight, and eventually destabilizes the platform below Lem, causing it to fall to the floor below, killing Lem. Max returns to Mona's side as the police arrive, and she dies in his arms. If the game is completed at its highest difficulty level, Mona survives.

NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND 2 Full Version Free Download

Need for Speed Underground 2 will challenge gamers to immerse themselves in the tuner culture, exploring an expansive, free-roaming city divided into five distinct neighborhoods. Gamers will encounter rival racers who will initiate events, tip players off to the hottest racing spots, and show them where to buy the most sought-after licensed aftermarket upgrades. The game will feature new game modes, deep new performance customization and tuning, and more than 30 licensed cars. The game also delivers twice the visual customization upgrades as the original game, providing a staggering 70 billion possible car combinations for total automotive self-expression.

The sequel to Need for Speed Underground has big shoes to fill, and it does so admirably, with vastly improved graphics, new gameplay modes, and an improved interface. The demo also pushes beyond the scope of the original, offering a "free roam" mode to explore the cityscape and challenge competitors at will, two types of "quick races" on two different tracks, and the ability to race other drivers online.
The graphics are the most obvious improvement. We only can describe them as truly awesome, even on lower settings. Lights on the bridge sparkle in the night sky, and mannequins in store windows catch your eye as you blaze past. Little things, such as pumping your hydraulics and bouncing down the avenue, make the experience even more fun. Racing is arcade style (it's awfully hard to destroy your car) and easy to learn, yet power drifting is an acquired skill that keeps the learning curve gradual, but long. The only knocks on this top-notch driving game are the ubiquitous product placements (a Cingular messaging system?), high system requirements, and large download size. Considering the depth and quality of Need for Speed Underground 2, though, most gamers can forgive those details.
